You will not get into trouble for telling when someone is hurting or abusing you.
Even if you have done some naughty things, it is not okay for anyone to hurt or abuse you.
The Police and Social Workers only want to help stop the abuse and keep you safe.
If you are finding it hard to do the right things at home, in school or other places, this could be partly because of upset caused by any abuse.
People whose job it is to work with children understand all the different ways abuse might affect you. They will still help you to deal with some of the feelings you might have about what has happened,even after the actual abuse has stopped.
